Meffre, world traveller, sailor, author, and tour guide, has spent
the last 25 years discovering and experiencing the beauty of this
planet. First with her family, she operated a sailing charter business,
working with people of many nationalities, sailing to such wild
places as Patagonia, Chile and Antarctica. She is fluent in English,
French, and Spanish. She resides in Hobart, Tasmania. With her
extensive knowledge of Tasmania, she
works as an interpreter, tour guide, and travel consultant. She
has written and published seven books, including a cookbook for
travellers, a children’s book about Antarctica, and several
about family life aboard a sailboat. She has also produced a video
